Once you contact us, our electricians will visit the site to evaluate the specific needs and conditions of the space to install a Tesla Charging Station at your home. As a Tesla-referred contractor in Raleigh, our team will check the existing electrical infrastructure to make sure it can support the additional load of a 60-amp circuit required for the Tesla Wall Connector.

They will also determine the optimal placement before installing the Tesla charging station. This includes evaluating the accessibility of the vehicle’s charging port, the appropriate mounting height, the need for weather protection if installing outdoors and solutions for cable management.

Our team will provide a detailed price estimation, including the cost of materials, labor and any necessary electrical panel upgrades. Our team will effectively handle the Tesla wall connection installation. You’ll have full financial visibility before starting the installation.

Our certified technicians will install your home charger, ensuring safety, optimal performance and compliance with specific Tesla standards. Projects may involve running a new, dedicated 240-volt, 60-amp circuit from your home’s main electrical panel to the chosen charger location. This step calls for the installation of appropriate 6-gauge wiring and a circuit breaker.

The Tesla Wall Connector is securely mounted to the wall at a suitable height, allowing easy access to your vehicle’s charging port. We will prepare the wirebox and attach the connector unit. Throughout the process, we’ll manage all required permits and complete the installation in compliance with local electrical codes. Most basic installations take a few hours to complete.

After installing and wiring the unit, we’ll conduct thorough safety tests to confirm the electrical connections are secure, there are no faults and the system is operating within safe parameters. We’ll schedule a qualified inspection to verify adherence to Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) standards, National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, and Tesla’s manufacturer compliance guidelines for proper installation and operation.
